That’s a cracker idea ! Didn’t we all do that as kids ?

Used a couple of M-80s in an attempt to dislodge an arbor vitae root ball. Unsuccessful, but immensely entertaining.

They would be in certain places, especially if those places under drought conditions.

Many states, Colorado for one, have made it illegal to buy, own or set off fireworks. It has been this way for many, many years.

Need to cut down a tree? Just wrap about 6 feet of det cord around it and “BOOM”, no more tree.

It looks like a dandelion that Earl is trying to weed. But, but,they make great wine…especially if you add oranges and lemons to it. Use to make wine with my ex. One of our fun times ages ago.

Much as I dislike firecrackers. (They disturb the eveninng and late into the night from mid June to mid July and beyond.)I can’t forget the time my brother took me out back and said ‘watch this’ as he lit a firecracker under his little blue model car. We found bits blue plastic car in that part of the yard for years and years and years. Long lasting entertainment!

The second day of a 2009 rerun week.

I remember using a magnifying glass to fry ants when i was a little kid. Didn’t have much compassion at the time. Now I’m 82, and I still feel guilty about it.
