Wikipedia says he’s the announcer for the Red Wings, lost his arm in WWII, was a media honoree by the Hockey Hall of Fame. Maybe Steve will push Moon out of the announcers booth.
This is a good storyline. Obvious Gil will have Steve back to his old self before football starts. The question is what method will Gil take and how will Molly be involved.
Steve will let Thor P know that he is a Blackhawks fan and Budd can go stick it. Plus, Budd lost his right arm, and Steve his left. This is completely different!
Is Budd Lynch still announcing? If he’s a World War II vet he must be close to 90 years old. But then, Vin Scully is still doing Dodgers games at 85, and he sounds exactly the same. He’s unbelievable.
Oooh! Does this mean Gil wants to get Steve into the announcing business? He’s hatching a plan to get rid of Marty Moon once and for all and get a Gil slappy in there to replace him. No more criticism of the Thor P regime.
“Ever hear of Albert Einstein?” He, too, had a brain, so whatever he did you can do. “Ever heard of Neil Armstrong?” He had two legs just like you, so you should be able to walk on the moon just like he did.

Evidently the heat wave that is engulfing the rest of the country seems to have avoided MILFord. I would have expected some melting faces.

Don’t like how Gil is flaunting his hand in front of Steve in P3.

This is going to be a pathetic story line.

Of all of the one armed vets in the country why does Gil pick one that nobody south of Windsor, Ontario ever heard of?
