One can always count on Bud for 4, 5, & sometimes even 6 panels, but today we get 7. Good old Bud. Not at all like some of those cartoonists who only give 1 or 2 panels or 3 if we’re lucky that day.
Like Woody Allen’s story about his friend who died suddenly and Woody had the same symptoms. So he had an expensive battery of tests performed on him and he was healthy. A bit perturbed at the expense and worry, he called the friend’s mother to ask if the friend had suffered much in his illness. The woman replied, no, the truck hit him and that was it.

My “buddy” borrowed some rock and roll records from me and then died. Would his family let me pick ’em out of his many boxes?
