Rats with guns! And BULLETS! Not as cute anymore …

Oh man. Talk about pandemonium! I thought Endtown was supposed to be home sweet home—well hopefully it is for Wally and Holly. I always thought Petey didn’t like Endtown simply because he had been stuck with Flask most of the time, but it seems like he doesn’t like the town in general, independently of Flask. In speaking of Flask, is her corpse laying in Topsider terrain somewhere, with Marx’s dittos?

Correct me please, but didn’t Flask distribute bullets only if there was an occasion for them? Just because they were so fast to the draw? Maybe I dreamed it ? Why do I get the feeling that Mr. Jack Rabbit staged a Coup d’ etat while the gang was away.

Let’s get out and vote-vote-vote, kids. Currently in 31st at TopWebComics and within seed-spittin’ distance of the Top 30. I loathe that votes are split between Endtown and Endtown 2.0 on TopWebComics, but we deal with what is, not what should be.

Something we can do to raise Endtown’s profile (and votes) is for each of us to come up with three friends who would appreciate this strip and let them know about it via a link to www.gocomics.com/endtown. If nothing else, a kind word w/link on our respective Facebook walls would reach all our FB “Friends.”

This is a terrific strip and it deserves a much larger audience. A little so-called guerilla marketing can help push Endtown in that direction.

Actually, you can vote once for each different network you connect to. For me that is once at home, once at work and once by smart phone – three vote per day. And, if I happen to going through a free hot spot (airport, McDonalds, etc.) that is one more vote.

Still think the rats are funny? Where oh where is Orkin when you need ’em!

Let’s see, Wally and Petey and Flask set off on a secret mission. No one else was told because it was secret. Maybe some high-ranking rats were told, but not the local constabulary.Wally and Petey come back suddenly and not through the door they went out. Flask didn’t come back with them. Three people that didn’t go out with them came back with them, along with a possible explosive device. One of those people is wearing a Topsider uniform and another, a giant unmutated human, is running around grabbing people off the street.Even Mallard and top level security who have been monitoring the mission through the sandcrawlers have got to be surprised, and alarmed.I’m surprised at the rats’ restraint under these circumstances. Their response is very reasonable.

Once Petey gets DV’s brain transplanted, they will probably go start a seperate colony for rescued brains-without-memory.;-)

Just a thought: I expected Petey to at least be recognized by the rats as a FOF (Friend of Flask). I can understand their reaction to Linda, but not recognizing Petey seems odd…;-)

Cute how Petey can change from top prop to lower prop between the “blink-of-a-frame”.

Do remember that the security rats are beyond trigger happy. They’re trigger ecstatic!

They look for reasons to assert their authority even while they’re sleeping………I think! So it stands to reason that when they come upon this little group which contains folks they have no earthly idea about that they will get itchy trigger fingers.

Seems like these rats are more aggressive than before. Just more of a nuisance than an actual threat. Putting a boot on a koala butt seems beyond rude. I hope that Jack Rabbit Hasn’t taken over!

Don’t know if this is the result of a random selection or if it actually means something, but the Endtown strip from yesterday has made it to the “Recommended” set of strips at the head of the comments.;-)

It’s safest to use only simple punctuation characters, like . , " ! ’ : And only use one character at a time (putting 5 or 6 in a row without spaces is what triggers the shortcuts). Don’t enclose text with two of the same characters like you do with quotation marks, because that can trigger the shortcut as well. If you want a paragraph separator, use the “-” dash character, like follows:—————————-Big Tom’s High Velocity Metals
