I have been the victim of a privately owned water company. The water was horrible, the filters were cleared not changed. Acquarium fish died as did any potted plant watered with it. We had to pay a minimum or they put a lien on homes of everyone who refused to pay their minimum monthly fee regardless of water usage. Now I’m in a PUD with good water at less than half the monthly cost. Give me government every time.
