Racially insensitive signs! Signs of racial insensitivity! wrong colors on the signs both times! oh, the horror of it!

And by the way, nobody wants ants THAT size in your pants…wait, no pants or panting in BC…

Cartoon Physics. in real life a bare foot could not withstand even several minutes standing on an axel, even if it were not turning.

Comparison of B.C. and Funky Winkerbean: B.C. in the early decades used to frequently be laugh-out-loud funny, and even today it’s far from the worst strip intended solely to entertain. Funky was never more than a brief smile at the best in its “entertainment” days, and has evolved into some sort of boomer soap opera strip almost empty of likeable characters. Batiuk is an excellent cartoonist, but Funky and Crankshaft are a terrible waste of his talents.
