I’ve seen clips of pets managing to open doors and let themselves out. But our old dog just used to scratch on the dimpled aluminum panel on the storm door when she wanted out. It was strange the one day we heard a similar, but lighter, sound. We looked at the door, and there sat the cat, pawing at the door and looking at us as if to say, “Hey, it works for the dog; gonna let me out?”

Poor pets! At least most of them are well taken care of. It’s the ones who are not that I feel for.
