My husband did most of the cooking; I only cooked occasionally. No matter which one of us prepared the meal, and even if we didn’t really like it, we always thanked the other person for the meal.

It was always a pet peeve for me when I slaved over the stove and all I was told for my efforts was: “It was okay.”
