if I were a superhero, my weakness held up by the fiends would be a lawn mower back of mowed grass; got to hate hay fever.

If I was a superheroine, my weakness would be milk from cows given artificial growth hormones. “Muwahaha, Seyleigh look in the mirror and see your heroic face covered in zits!”

It’s hard to find manufactured foods that don’t contain some form of wheat, these days. Best stick to things you make yourself. Yes, it takes longer but is much more fulfilling.

Perhaps that’s a weakness in itself. There are other parts of the body that hurt when kicked.

Hah! I agree with you, Comics Lover. Many of the “illnesses/allergies” to all sorts of things in our society are IMHO convenience allergies…. for the convenience of the person who wants to draw attention to him/herself with the special needs.

No it’s because of all the chemicals that the FDA wants put into the food these days

People have Celiac in other countries. It’s just more prevalent in places where wheat is a staple of the diet. Also, while gluten-free may seem like a fad at the moment, there are people out there that really can’t have gluten.
