That must be the Mop Up Committee for the Ballard Street Scientific and Social Engineering Society.

If one of the boys lights a match under that thingy on the pipe over the table they might find out more about absorbency than they want to know.

    Absorbency . . . a captivating subject.

    ’Bout time!

They’ve always thought it was just another job for women, worrying about this “absorbency” business ….. Diapers and paper towels, napkins and bathroom rugs…. and…. other stuff women needed….it never concerned them…But as time marches on….they’re starting to discover a bit of relevance now.

Hey I don’t want to make any of you Midwest and East Coast Ballard Streeters jealous or anything…but here in Santa Rosa the weather has dropped down into the mid-70’s, almost misty part of the day….with nights in the very low 50’s.Of course, my tomato plants aren’t too happy…but I remind them that August and September will be hot.

There are some questions which seem to transcend the very nature of the universe, Gordon’s new group has apparently lost their focus. They need to come out of the basement and into the garage. Can this inquiry stand the light of day???? Shirley says, “nay, nay”……

Without checking with my secretary, I believe Derrick and Traci closed on the house last week, although I’m not sure if they’ve actually moved in yet.

Since their possible current or impending need for absorbent undergarments has been covered, I’ll just note that I’m wondering if the absorbency of the sandwich is going to be tested. My food absorbency interest is mostly limited to the milk absorbency of cookies.

I have been having problems with both posting and viewing the cartoons. When I hit the refresh icon on my computer, the pictures came up. The posting is hit or miss, when I hit submit. This started earlier this AM ( 1:15AM EDT ) when I was first on.

I really think it’s a power drain kind of thing, with every A/C in the country on! Not that I know a whole lot about these things, that just happens to fit into my theory (you know, come up with a theory, then come up with “facts” that support it…). Anyway, I’m confidant it’s not a problem with my laptop, and at least, more likely a problem at GoComics…

Some relief for the northeast predicted for tomorrow! Hope the rest of the country follows shortly after. And, some RAIN….!!! PLEASE!!

The key question is choosing which liquids to study; what are the relevant differences between gin, vodka, wine, beer, whiskey, rum, etc. Sip sip.
