And the typical didactic, melodramatic story line would be for them to improve themselves together, supporting each other as they acquire better outlooks or perspectives on life ….. I suppose that can’t happen in the comics though. Too dull.
Those characteristics don’t work well for you when you mature (Steve Jobs notwithstanding).
