    I suppose one could say “Va te faire futre” but it would probably be counter-productive to say that to the person you’re asking for help. That’s the only curse phrase that I know en francais.

    I stayed at the dinkiest hotel ever when in Paris. It was called La Roche Hotel. I called it The Roach Hotel.

    Claire needs a good copy of “Merde!” or “Merde! Encore” — two great French phrase books with all the cussing and crude language left in.

    They’re idiots. When you travel, really aren’t you looking for different lands? Things are different and you’re meant to appreciate the VAST luxuries we enjoy in this relatively undepleted land. The European continent has been settled and pillaged long ago. Space is short in cities, resources are rare. Relax and enjoy the journey and look at them as interesting instead of not like home.
