What wrong-doing? Phoebe didn’t do anything, but ask for her STOLEN pencil topper back. Marigold mistakenly thought since Dakota refused to give Phoebe back her property that the fair thing to do would be to facilitate an exchange. I agree with Masterius, Dakota was shown from her first appearance to be one of those hateful little “popular girls” who torment anyone different. Phoebe has felt bad for her ever since she lost her hair & has been trying to befriend her. The only wrong-doing has been on baldy’s part.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if this somehow allowed them to get on better terms with each other? Despite Dakota’s attitude, I think this little incident has kind of humbled her. She’s at least talking to Phoebe like a person instead of “Princess Stupidbutt.”

You know what’s strange though? We see that the hat ended up behind the log, but Phoebe seemed to lose it BEFORE she spotted Dakota a few strips before. Explanation miss Dana?

No new strip today? Hope we get one soon or I’ll be sad.
