Why is it that I always get such a warm and fuzzy feeling every time I see Vlad the Impaler ?He looks like one of the crew on my galleon, The Irish Rover.

Re; FB Moose chili….I suppose if one really wanted to, one could replace the moose ingredients with beef, but that would probably take all the fun out of hunting down, killing and eviscerating a moose.

is it just me or does anyone else think that “seedless” watermelons are bland and less than sweet?somethings are not better when “improved”.

I do think we’ve had a redundancy of rabbits lately. While I have a certain liking for leporidae, they seem to be everywhere.. I think I’m going hopping mad seeing all of them.

So, I was saying to my friend, Harvey, just the other day….Why can’t these little guys be more like you ? Even at 6’ 3.5" tall, you’re not intrusive. In fact your presence is hardly noticed. Why can’t a bunny be more like a pooka ?

Tee – if you’re in San Diego would you say hello to Garfield for me? (and try to steal some of his lasagna – I feel a relapse coming on). DBV

I’ll try anything. Mouse. cat, dog, anaconda. just don’t expect me to sacrifice any of my pets..Horse is OK. Goat, good. If I’m starving and someone dies……...I prefer vegetables, though.

I previously suggested that maybe the moose chili recipe on FB might be substituted with beef, but if I said that one might use rabbit meat instead some people just might get offended.

Teresa, I love those Lunchbox Awesome lunches, which she calls “bento.” As with many of your other submissions, this one sent me to Google. Bento is now considered a Japanese art form. Here’s more info on the cartoon version, called “kyaraben” or “character bento”: http://www.weirdasianews.com/2008/05/10/kyaraben-bento-box/
