Gads, Sunny, I could just think of Les Miserables and I’m an English major (albeit an old, broke-down one)!

Sunny had a head start. She had thinking time before Jojo got the question to google.

As great as “Hunchback” and “Le Miz” are, I highly recommend the little-known “Ninety-three” and “The Man Who Laughs”.

“Ninety-three” is especially amazing; the second and third chapters alone contain more drama, mystery, and excitement than entire books by lesser authors.

Anybody ever read about Alexander Dumas’ background for the 3 musketeers?

Hunchback and Les Mis were the only ones I knew (and I had to think for a split second to remember Hunchback!). I would have had to use Google to find any more.

Also a poem, at least according to Ed Wynn : There’s a burglar in the basement; A loaded gun he’s got. I’m sure if I went down there That I would soon be shot. – Hugo
