I always thought Opal was a little quicker than he was…..

I knew a woman who would purposely botch a repair job herself just to get her husband to do it right. Saved his ego and got it done.

Never do today what you can put off till tomorrow…

Never do today what you can put off indefinitely.

and you can lie dying, declaring “i just wish i’d spent more of my life doing trivial crap.”

I think Opal is saying if you don’t fix that right now, you are going to be killed!

Don’t put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after tomorrow..

Hard work pays off eventually, but laziness pays off right away! :)

I admire the perseverance of Opal and the resistance of Earl.Tomorrow never comes. :)

Maybe if Opal hired the studly younger dude down the street to help her, things would move in the preferred direction.

Earl has a condition that is not treatable ..

It’s called “Manana” syndrome..

Reminds me of the saying, “Nobody on their death bed regrets the things they did, they regret the things they didn’t do.” (Talking about sane law abiding people, of course.)
