Well nobody predicted that ending!

Having coached and umpired LL and softball over a stretch of 12+ years, I’ve seen a lot of these types of catches.It’s always a joy when it’s one of the less talented players and their team mates rally around them, big game or not.

Great way to end this story arc….I was afraid of a Charlie Brown type ending….Go Cream Puffs!!!

Nice ending, I thought Nate would snag it just before it went over the fence. Chad will remember this for the rest of his life and not the accident he just had in his uniform. Cupcakes for everyone !

don"t know about you guys, but I actually cheered out loud. Made my husband give me a look. lol

I caught a hit like that one time. Pitching softball with office team. A line drive came right at me, & mostly I just put my glove up to keep it from hitting me in the face. Closed my eyes and ducked a little, too. Lucky me, the ball went right in, smack! Doubled a runner off of first, too! Totally awesome feeling! I still remember it, some 30 years later.
