@tinechambers, Yesterday you said I am always critical of this strip. Are you sure you haven’t confused me with someone else? A few times I have said I don’t get a joke, hoping someone would explain. Yesterday I said the strip has gone more in the direction of puns. Neither good nor bad—just an observation. I have always been a Brevity fan so not sure what you mean. You also asked if I have an agenda. What kind of agenda could I have?

Heavy water is involved in (supposed) cold fusion.And protons, of course, are subatomic particles…So I love it when somebody online suggests “proton shakes” … hence my other bad joke.
