Money orders have to be signed these days as well. The Amish refuse to mess around with checks. It is strictly cash and carry in Amish communities. But that is about the last place where that is true.
I put my tithes in an envelope with the money (cash or check) along with a slip of paper for the church records.

I only have one credit card and I use it as little as possible. I pay mostly with cash.
