If you’d just taken those lyrics a little farther, maybe they would have answered the question, actually…Tuesday morning leads to Tuesday afternoon, and…. well….

Meanwhile…. great to see you again, Bev! So glad you have your air conditioning back, too!
Very few have air conditioning here… we always say it doesn’t get hot enough….then when we do get one of our occasional 105 degree days, no one can move.
But we’re very lucky in having nature’s air conditioning… a cool breeze and often a cloud cover that moves in almost every night, so the usual 85 degree summer days drop to 50 or so by nightfall.
And yeah, all those animal pictures and nickname stories were great — I meant to tell Stel and the others….if I didn’t, I’ve been remiss.

I’d help you….but could we really make over 400??!
BTW … I know there are bars on the bag…. my concern was that it looked like there were people back there behind the bars…
Yes, I think I will talk to the prison authorities…though it might not be Ballard County jail or the Old Ballard Prison…Might be some prison on foreign soil…
<I just thought we should be told, if so.
Anyway, I feel like I’ve been running in little circles…. always busy but still not keeping up.
I had so many plans for yesterday, but I ended up catching up on some needed sleep…
Sorry, again, if I missed anything.
But at least the cotton candy machine is ready to go….the Monkey and I figured it out….
Hey that was fun…um…thank you Monkey! And thanks for the steak and the….well…thanks for everything…. including shushing the noise outside when I was all crashed out.
My Tuesday morning is certainly special. I’m getting my car’s oil changed. after I read the comics. Now that the Moody Blues have been mentioned, way back in the day when I lived in El Paso (stationed at White Sands), my favorite rock station did their morning “signon” (24 hour station is the reason for the quotes) with “The Day Begins”. I had my radio alarm set perfectly to come on at the beginning of the poem to get up and start my day. Then one day without warning, they changed it and I woke up to the Beatles screaming “Good Morning Good Morning”.
Ballard St. is just not the same without purple hair and dresses! That’s it! I’m gettin’ the markers out! (But, not the Sharpies®…I’d never get the screen clean.)
We should all take a moment to welcome the newest residents on Ballard Street,…. Frieda (Effie) and Bartholamew (Artie) Leichenschpincter from Poughkeepsie NY…..
HELLO EFFIE & ARTIE….!!!!Recently retired from their family business importing and distributing party supplies and novelties for the young at heart… they had heard stories of Ballard Street from a traveling distributor of fine Terdmunkistan Cowbells and Yak-Jerky…. and after viewing photos of our humble neighborhood “on-line” (yes, they fully embrace the age of the internet… they got a HP laptop…!)
This is their first Tuesday in their new yellow 2 bedroom bungalow at 3423, two doors down from Sheila and Ted (and lets not forget Scooter)….
They are now positioned, poised and at the “ready” to partake in all the splendor and gala that they had heard so much about that frequently happens on BS…. esp on Tuesdays, er… was that Wednesdays…? Oh well, something or someone “silly” is bound to happen by…. sooner or later, and they can hardly wait…!!!!
“wish we had some cotton candy…” whispers Effie…..
Yippee ! The colorist are back. I was beginning to think it was a conspiracy against us Andy Cappers, Ballard Streeters, and Non Sequiturians. Not that I’m paranoid or anything….
No, customers like that are not the reason we prefer takeout from our favorite Chinese restaurant – that place is so packed they rent the outside tables from the adjacent store after its opening hours. You have to be there really early and/or have a reservation or wait some time. It’s that good.

GoComics must have it in for us regular readers of Andy Capp and Ballard Street strips. The other lesser read strips are colorized. BOOO !

Before I go….I was sent this mysterious picture….
It looks like…. either Dogsniff is carving Tikis out of giant radishes….
Or ….some people are afraid of Tikis, and he thinks they’ll seem friendlier if he just calls them salad vegetables….
cos after all….
“Vegetables dream of responding to youStanding there shiny & proud by your side…”

Seems to me most ANY day is worth celebrating; without it we wouldn’t get the one that follows.

re: “Special Tuesday Mornings”
…as Ernie is fond of saying, “When you’re retired, everyday is a holiday and every meal’s a banquet!”
But, I have to say that I am partial to Whimsical Wednesdays.)
