I didn’t know any of that was possible…. I mean, buying houses, acreage and business assets with no money, flying huge chunks of property through the air….buying said businesses when the owners haven’t actually sold them…wow.
Makes me wonder whether I should consider a move… then again, with the salon to run, I don’t want to be way out by the sea…. or the lake…. or wherever you and Storm (and Linguist?) live.
Anyhow, I’m glad you found the bags I’d left at campaign headquarters…I should have known crazy things were possible on Ballard St…cos this is the second time, at least, that I’ve been surprised by people picking up something I’d promised them at least a full day before I left it!
I said I would get the bags Friday afternoon, but you reported on Thursday that most were already delivered!
And Stel showed up Friday night with the dog carts, as promised…. she took some of the leftover bags and I took some, and we did our routes…but I felt confused, as though I were already late.
Just last week, when I thought it was Wednesday on Tuesday, I apologised and promised I would leave you produce on the real Thursday morning…. but you and Stel had already picked it up Wednesday!
So maybe I can buy a house, like you did, before I have the money and before the owners want to sell it?I wouldn’t want to upset them, though…would mine be a duplicate or would they be forlorn?
I’m sooooo confused…. maybe I should have had one less daiquiri.
Oh…. before it gets any earlier and I forget what I’m apparently about to have said… cos you heard it yesterday or something…(Ow… my head!)
Election day….I’ll be happy to help make the election night party happen at Bev’s new place… if it’s OK with the Monkey…
But don’t forget….Election Day is also (shhh) the Monkey’s birthday. We were already planning to have a party and he knows it…so let’s not forget in the midst of it all, that win or lose…. and we’re going to WIN, right? …. it’s also a birthday celebration!
BTW if you ask him how old he’ll be, and he claims to be way younger than you thought…… remember he might be talking monkey years.
Redkaycei…. not perverted…. just Ballardian. All is understood on Ballard St.
That reminds me…. tomorrow I’m going to the fair again but very soon….hmmm….very soon….I feel inspired to go over to Bev’s and have another look at her collection of firem… er, recipe videos…..

Monkey…. of course. I’ll do my part to keep our future sheriff…him… on his toes.
I’m off for the fair after that… one week to go. And speaking of blues bands, one of my favorites, besides the Monkey’s, ofcourse…. is there for a week every year, and tonight is their first night this year.So I’m gonna go … It’s called the Terry Hanck band. You ever seen ’em, Monkey?

My goodness! I just finished watching “The Girl Who Was Death” (which I thoroughly enjoyed!) and came back here to get to the other link that you provided yesterday (Episode 3). You have been busy, sir!! This is quite the bonanza! I am so impressed that you could put all the episode links in one comment box! Every time I try to do multiple links +/or pictures, I end up having to delete and re-post until I’m ready to pull my hair out in frustration.
Well, beyond that, I am very grateful to you for taking the time to do this and for putting all the episodes is what is a more logical order and for giving a little background.
So, I’ll be back in about an hour and a half (after I watch episode one and walk Maxwell).
For a little background music while your read the comments – parandroide34 playlist‘parandroide : invitation to the blues’
‘Prove It On Me’, Ma Rainey (1928);‘Nobody Knows You When You’re Down & Out’, Bessie Smith (1928);‘Black Betty’, Lead Belly (1939);‘The Soul Of A Man’, ‘Blind’ Willie Johnson (1930);‘Stack O’Lee Blues’, ‘Mississippi’ John Hurt (1927);‘Black Dog’, ‘Blind’ Blake (1927);‘Statesboro Blues’, ‘Blind’ Willie McTell (1928);‘Black Snake Moan’, ‘Blind’ Lemon Jefferson (1927);‘Deep Blue Sea Blues’, Lonnie Johnson (1928);‘Devil Got My Woman’, Skip James (1931);‘Walkin’ Blues’, Robert Johnson (1937)‘Good Morning, School Girl’, ‘Sonny Boy’ Williamson (1937);‘Goin’ Down To The River’, ‘Mississippi’ Fred McDowell (gravação ‘live’ no The American Folk-Blues Festival, 1965);‘Hey Hey’, Big Bill Broonzy (1956);‘I Can’t Quit You Baby’, Otis Rush (1956);‘No Shoes’, John Lee Hooker (1960)‘Spoonful’, Howlin’ Wolf (1960);‘You Can’t Lose What You Ain’t Had’, Muddy Waters, “The Real Folk Blues (compilacao)” (1965);‘John The Revelator’, Son House (1965);‘Born Dead’, J.B. Lenoir, “J.B. Lenoir” (1970 – gravacoes de 1966).
There are a bunch of “parandroide” playlist at archive.org and while I’m partial to the blues, there’s also ‘parandroide : it’s only rock ‘n roll (but i like it)’
Help me out here! Is the VMIPT going to rotate the entire room? Just like in the movies? Wow! That’d be so cool….! Geez, Bev, you could make the carriage house your own Carnival Fun House!
Most things are disconcerting to me after beers and shots, not being used to drinking much. But, it does sound like a fairly simple concept, you know…spinning the room and the entire universe around a moose head… I’m surprised no one’s thought of it before now! But, of course, the key component was determining the most efficient power source. I’m sure Doc Toon’s formula is just the ticket!
There’s nothing anyone of us can do about Essex60 but move forward. If and when he’ll return…….only he knows the answer. So, forge ahead. Perhaps when you least expect it, it will happen…………….
@beviekPlease don’t be intimidated by the control panel. There are only a few dials indicators and switches you need be concerned about. This panel was swiped eh adapted from a WWII bomber and so some of the controls have no function.POSITION and SPEED control the turntable while SHAKE RATTLE and ROLL control the shaker. The Red button is the Activate/Deactivate (ABORT) button. Our quality control testing of this button has been quite methodical (turned on and off over 100 × 103 times) so we are absolutely reasonably certain that it will function.Don’t worry about the Fuel Consumption, Gravitational Anomaly or the RAD Level meters. But for goodness sake, don’t press the ANY key.
’The episode The Girl Who Was Death features the Kursaal Fairground in Southend-on-Sea. That’s my home town and my mother (who was pregnant with me at the time) can be seen in the background!
Sadly, the fairground was demolished in the early 80’s to make way for a housing estate.’=========I went back to that episode to see if I might be able to spot her, but between the 17" laptop screen and not having a remote to control the speed, I think I saw her, but cannot be sure. The historic amusement park that was near where I live was also demolished in the 90’s. It was the highlight of every summer to go there one time, usually in August right before school started. I would be soooo excited for days preceding it. Great memories!!
I like the “shake, rattle and roll” dials on your control panel! BUT, I always get a little edgy anytime I’m told to press or not to press ANY key. Especially when I’m not really certain where ANY key is!
I was also interested in where you went shopping, since I thought I remembered that you live in the northwest corner of Massachusetts (that we were neighbors). Then, you threw me a curve when you said you were going to G’burg. Unless, you were going to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to shop, I was stymied! Did I, perhaps, misunderstand?
