Sophie “loves the hose” (to play with) but that doesn’t mean she wants to be bathed with it… as Dad loves cappuccino, but he doesn’t shave with it… and all my dogs (#s 7 and 8 now – all either wandered in and adopted us or we adopted from the local humane society) have been just fine about getting bathed. Guess it all depends on the relationship you establish with them.

They say he loves the hose but probably just when it is on-some dogs love to run through it when it is just on light when watering the grass.tHIS IS ON HIGH TO WASH HIM AND HE FEELS AS IF HIS SKIN IS BEING SHAVED. i DON’T THINK WE WOULDL IKE THAT PRESSURE EITHER.

I find it nice to be able to read this one today without enlarging it.

I read this as Sophie complaining about being sprayed with the hot water left laying in the hose all day. It’s hot like a cappuccino

I guess I am a wimp. I use no tears baby wash as it doesn’t sting their eyes and warm water to bathe my dogs and they are so much easier to deal with that way. In fact they like bath time.

I always bathe my dogs in the bathtub. With the door closed, it’s easier to keep them in it. On the other hand, the cat not so much.

RDH288, the reader does not have the right or duty to invent things. If the artist wants the water to be hot, it is his burden to make that clear. Something like Occam’s Razor.

For those of you who don’t get this, let me explain. As a dog owner my pooch doesn’t mind helping wash the car, run around biting sprinklers, or attacking the water what sprays out of the hose but as they say, it all fun and games until… Someone brings out the dog shampoo. After that my dog wants nothing to do with the hose. The gist being that those who love soda wouldn’t wash their hair in it.
