It’s gonna take more than an hour or to to fixthat bridge.

If Joel expects to “re-pair” that bridge in just one hour, and he did the same before, no wonder the bridge was in such a state. And where is he gonna get the wood and the nails? From the junkyard?

I think Rod Stewart should make a cameo appearance in Gasoline Alley…

I’d like to see how Rufus approaches that repair job

Taken a week for the bridge to collapse,now I’ve forgotten what the story is about.-too long

If Rufus actually rebuilds the bridge and the progress is shown in the daily strip, that could take a couple of months, and half that time would be Rufus “fetchin’ the jug”. Still beats a story about Slim and Clovia though.

Don’t forget to run it by the EPA first, then we gotta do the “environmental impact study”, etc, etc., etc.,…all the paper work and gov’ment approvals should easily be done by next week.

Just straighten out the ol’ ones, waste not, want not!

Time to call the Army Corps of Engineers. They own or approve the design, engineering, and placement of bridges.

I guess that answers my question from the other day.

All the materials needed to repair the bridge are at the bottom of the…whatever. All Rufus has to do is haul them up.

And now they know what the load limit of the bridge is! Calvin’s dad had it right all along!
