That’s the trouble with living with somebody. Everything you do is under scrutiny….creepy…..

Arlo has dry eyes, needs to use some type of artificial tears before going to sleep!

Reminds me of when I’d had a mildly irritated eye for awhile and was ignoring it. I woke up and felt something go, like, “poink” in that eye. A couple of days later I saw my WI eye doctor about the pretty gold crescent in the inside corner of my right eye. He took a look and said, “Holy cow!” (not something you want to hear at a time like that). I’d started up a detached retina. That afternoon my daughter took me down to Milwaukee and a surgeon repaired the thing pretty well. So, boys and girls, take good care of your eyes. I scrub my lids with baby shampoo every night, and use an an antibiotic on the rare occasions when one starts to get sore. (Sorry to be graphic, but you need to protect yourself.)

Once a year or so a bunch of old friends and I rent a cabin up north. One guy as apnea so bad it scares you when he stops breathing for seconds at a time. seems like forever. I think he’s got some sort of wierd flaps up in his sinuses that other people don’t have….But he may be part aquatic mammal, too….

Do some people actually make an audible “Poink” when they open their eyes? I guess I’ve led a sheltered life.

Zedman, Well, the noise for one thing. He’s not the only one who snores, however…We have one who is VERY LOUD! But he doesn’t worry us. But it’s hard to sleep when you think you’re going to have to call 911
