@bpullin I sure hope you are including Corporate welfare in that number, you know they need that entitlement to keep lobbying for more, its in their marketing plan. All those tax breaks and tax waivers have to be paid by someone…..

This is Liberalism, where the Gov’t feels they are entitled to your money. And Carmen is the 1%, the producers. As for the comment that only the poor pay taxes, that could not be further from the truth, the poor pay nothing, the tom 5% pay 90 percent of the taxes.

More like, “welcome to civil society, where we each support the community, and the infrastructure and human resources that keep it going.” What problem people have with this idea is difficult not to pinpoint as straightforward selfishness.
