Ah, FA is finally visible here, now what was wrong this time? I had to spend most of a Sunday noodling on my own!

Huh. Posted this on the wrong day, it may not have been seen.

The gargoyle from Frog Blog is on the façade of Notre Dame de Paris. I took a picture of him when I was there in 1971, along with a small city next door, because I loved the detail.

I think the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota is engaging in more than just a little sophistry in its analysis of The Man Isle.

The mere fact that a Man Isle exists doesn’t mean everything else in the store (i.e., toilet paper, diapers, cleaning products, greeting cards,* baking supplies, and healthy food (which I take to mean lasagna and other pasta-based products) is, in effect, in an unmarked Woman Isle. In the first place there’s no sign denoting those places as such. Furthermore those parts of the store are fairly obviously co-ed in nature. Someone in the ivory tower needs to readjust the sensitivity level of her sexism detection radar.

* If you don’t believe men shop for and buy greeting cards ask my friends Vicky and Debbie about the multiple birthday cards they both received from Big Wave Dave this year.

The CHAIRS posting is most excellent; although the owl person in blue jeans and boobies chair is a little disturbing.

Plus, the immigrant photos are haunting.

I’m not sure knowing what is in their noodles would be pleasing.

Personally, I like a good kanoodle.

Please forgive me for using this opportunity, but rarely do I find so few comments, and BY YOU, to boot!!!

Here is my question.

Under “Today’s Comics” there are 4 listings: Popular; NEW; A-Z listing AND Espanol!!!

So, WHY are there so many new Espanol comics in the A-Z listings???

I don’t see English only in the Espanol.

I think it’s great that there is an Espanol section, but I don’t get it that they are in both places. “prolly” anyone in the Espanol section is not going to be in A to Z anyway.

Anyway, I know you were a “bad boy” a while back, so you are familiar with the Powers that Be, and might have an idea about this, AND that they prolly watch you!!!

I think you are great!

Hope you see this and can give me your thoughts on this, and the “powers” see this and give it some thought.
