Today’s strip, which I really had fun drawing, contains an artistic faux pas. If anyone identifies it, I will give them the original (black and white line art) FREE of charge.
Is it how there’s no endpoint to the grass and beginning point to the bottom of the fence? The green representing the grass just kinda waves up and down over where one would normally place the bottom part of the fence. Also, it looks like there are power lines on the right side of the strip that pass behind Joe’s head, but never come back out the other side(maybe that’s how he’s powering is headphones, lol).
At least there is greenery. Everywhere else is dead or dying due to drought. Leaves on trees are not changing but dieing.I see different building in background.Yes there are lots of people who use attenas or rabits ears. For attenas my dad 30-years-ago moved to attic.
Unfortunately, nobody figured out the “artistic faux pas” in today’s strip! Many guesses were actually good, but not good enough to win the free original. The answer is (drum-roll, please) the twins cannot actually “Speak” and have never had a clean-edged speech balloon. Their “conversations” are always illustrated with a “cloud with a speech tail”. Glad I got away with it! lol
Ah, good point, I know I had noticed that in the past, but wasn’t able to pick up on it here. I have noticed, and do like, how the kids talk in lowercase and the adults in uppercase, lol. Thanks for the opportunity anyway!

There is something odd about the nozzle end of the hose, as if it’s the kind that slips over a tub faucet.

See week of May 7th for an example of the correct “Speech cloud” for the twins.

I’m way late for this, but is it that a few of the beams on the fence are whited out like they’d been erased?
