Fly the flag to show everyone you are a patriot. Keep it out in all weather, unilluminated and ripped to shreds….but….yes…..you are a patriot!!! (And a moron).
I think the wall plaque says it all, “We pledge allegiance to any fad.” The Pennys will do whatever they are told, except spend money or care about anyone other than themselves..Personal opinion: Fly the flag to honor it and the Nation; if you don’t know why you are flying it, then you are dishonoring it. If you are doing it to say “Look at me, I’m patriotic” you dishonor it as well. I agree with Finale, and will go one more; buy one made in the USA.
Usually things that are normal parts of the drawing won’t be Find-Its, but lately, the peripatetic chair finials seem to be an exception.
Speaking of which, … I usually won’t participate in “outing” the Find-It before others have had a chance to search…but since it’s so obvious today, and was already talked about, I made an exception too.
Flag day was back in June, and Labor day isn’t here yet. We proudly fly our flag 24/7, spotlit at night, because we believe in freedom and want to keep our country that way.
Probably a resued piece…. because it seems like the stars are old find-its…. The new ones lack the detail of these old ones…. Like the faint images of the neighbors peering out the window… and the little donkey pulling the little wagon…. ! ! !

The ‘Find It’ seems to be linked, today, to the amazing vanishing finials… Now you see ‘em, now you don’t!

Well, Julie re-uses drawings, and doesn’t seem to run the seasonal ones in particularly timely fashion.
Yesterday’s (?) To-do list mentioned Ma’s Christmas present…. and today the neighbors do have their flags out as well.
I’m thinking it might be some actual holiday, like Flag Day, that the Penny’s know nothing about…
When Marlene calls, Joy pretends she simply forgot…. and puts up a flag. Doesn’t matter why, as long as she isn’t outdone.

Purple sky — a couple of days ago, too.

Apologies to anyone still searching….
And good morning, Crustwoodians!

Amazing people, these. Maybe we should call them “Crustations”, not meaning to insult the formentioned.

I still have not been able to think of a way in which patriotism benefits mankind.
