Get a clue here! It’s called “perspective”. Objects in the foreground look larger because they are closer and things farther away look smaller. Also if the ball on the boy’s head has been deflated, it will naturally be smaller. Since you’re supposed to be such a great cartoonist yourself, you should already know these things. And yes, we are all still waiting for you to reveal your great piece de resistance. Maybe if you didn’t spend so much time putting down other people’s work, you would have it done already.
Thanks for clearing that up. I also detest negativity from people who offer no suggestions or examples of how to make something better. I like your metaphor.
So do you like the strip or not? Not that I really care, but you contradict yourself when called on your first reaction. If you are so gifted and know how to do it so much better, I (as well as many others) ask again why don’t you offer up your own work for the same criticism from others? If you can’t do this, then go somewhere else and leave the rest of us to enjoy the comic strip in peace.
I can understand that you deconstruct the comic strip just to amuse yourself. But if your comments are not meant for others to read, then perhaps you should keep them to yourself!
I can respect that. You are entitled to your own opinion. But you don’t have to subject the rest of us to all your negativity every day. I also noticed that it took you approximately 20 minutes to “not respond”.

I guess “spiking” the ball is only allowed in volleyball.
