I honestly think we have all been there, every end of the month inventory was like that for me "Consolidate, organize, and catalog, all product, correctly count and label, eliminate excess by product (items no longer used for anything) report total by product discarded

I’m the finance clerk for my congregation. []The denomination (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, better known as the Mormons) requires a fairly extensive paper trail consisting of both physical and electronic records when it comes to both money being received and money being disbursed; these records must remain on-hand for a minimum of two years.[]Not only do I receive a monthly reconciliation statement that I have to go over (items entered via electronic record vs. actual logged transactions), I get audited twice a year. My last audit was in February, so the next one is going to happen before the end of the month.[]Note that this is on top of the requirement that a member of the clergy sign off on all my paperwork and be present when donations are being counted and recorded. There’s also supposed to be at least two people at any given time safeguarding the donations on their way to be deposited. Fortunately, given my reputation (I’m huge IRL), I’ve not had anyone try to mess with me about that.

when I first started my last job I was excited because I had been unemployed for 3 months. Then the first day on the job I sat down with a trainer and there were 2 computers on my desk, one for internal work and one for the bank. The trainer started telling me all of the programs and my mind exploded. I had about 7 different programs that all worked together to get the job done……….one of my first thoughts was “what the Heck have I gotten my self into”. Of course once I learned it all I could see how it worked and eventually they intergrated the bank programs into the internal computer and then we only had one but had to have 2 smalll screens open at all times…..sigh, so glad I am retired.

When I was temping, I was left alone in a warehouse with a cage full of disorganized file folders. I mean, FULL. I had to organize those, and then there were boxes throughout the warehouse with more files, and I had to decide which ones were duplicates; which were to be integrated and which were to be discarded. During one my ten minute breaks at the desk they left me, I conceived my graphic novel CLICK TRACK and most of the key characters. So it didn’t utterly destroy my mind, but it sure looked imposing.

Rita wasn’t a VP yet. She was a manager, though I’m not sure if she actually had the job Dana has now. John?

Actually, it’s Rita and Dana. Rita just gets names wrong sometimes. When Jay started she called him Jeff. Later on, she only knew him as “Jaycomehereineedyou.”

This was obviously before Dana got her powers, otherwise Rita would be a cactus by the end of that sentence.
