Understanding of their official point of view. Their actual point of view is that they’ll go against everything they’re supposed to be for if it will let them score points by obstructing anything a Democrat proposes, or anything they proposed themselves that looks like he’s for it.
It’s very hard to build a consensus when the people you are trying hard to work with, have had, from day one, only one goal in mind – your total destruction and humiliation.
Discussion is always possible if you have parties willing to rationally partake in civil debate. So far today, that has been the refreshing norm. Thanks for civility and politeness.
I’m skeptical that Israel is any more reasonable than Iran, considering Mitt the Twitt was reassuring them on his Big Vacation that he’d be fine with their nuking Persia. The Israeli leadership didn’t exactly erupt in embarrassed horror at his suggestion that they might actually do that.
Got it backwards, et. Obama is no friend of Israel; and the way he’s been kissing up to the Muslim world guarantees that another Obama term would be disastrous for the US on the international stage.
