Oh, please, John & Scott, do something with that woman. Have Dana commit her and animate a potted plant to take her place. Or better still, have her start dating…she’ll be occupied trying to turn him into a CEO or something.
Lots of people, or they wouldn’t sell them in stores. Every other animated show on TV promotes the idea that every single guy in the entire world sleeps in y-fronts. This is because writers and directors think y-fronts are funny, funny, funny and a guaranteed laugh each and every time they’re shown. YAWN. Many guys wear sweats- anything baggy and comfortable, which y-fronts are not. Yep, pajamas. They still exist.
I’m really not the grammar and spelling police, but in case you make a book with this comic in it, you may want to add an “h” to that last word in the last panel (should be nightmare)… (ducking in case something is thrown in my direction)
I catch most of the lettering mistakes before I send off the strips, but a few slip through! Keeps things lively. There is a book comic, so we’ll see what errors haunt us…
Best sleep wear for men? A swimsuit (boxer style) and a huge baggy t-shirt, been wearing this kind of thing for years. Cool, light, comfy, and doesn’t tangle. Winter or summer works well.
I find pajamas far more comfortable than sticking to sheets. Heck, they’re just comfortable, period. Not so much the ones that button in the front. Or the tight ones that look like Star Trek uniforms. Loose fitting t-shirts and elastic waistbands. Yep.
I’ve sent a few little corrections in to other strips. These days, e don’t have the same relationship with editors that traditional newspaper strips had. The readers sort of take the place, except their input is after the fact. The strip has already appeared.
That’s what I’ve heard. When American men saw a president, most of them for the first time in their lives, not wearing a top hat to his inauguration, they thought “Why do I have to wear a hat?”
