You said it, Elly, not him.

The first point, in the first frame, is that Farley got loose, and probably into other folks garbage, not Elly’s leftovers.

I don’t see what John has to smile about. For all we know, Farley ate John’s cooked beans while Elly was away and that’s what made him sick. They sure made Mike green!

Elly is prepared for him!

Sadly, I once had a dog who got loose for a day and died from his garbage gastritis.

haters gonna hate (and it’s just a comic strip!)

I knew when my dog had the GG. I took her right to the vets and they just made her barf it all up. I picked her up later. She was miserable, but survived. If I hadn’t made the trip, the vet said she would probably have died from pancreatic complications.

The last panel looks like John is about to bust a gut trying not to laugh.

Another reason not to feed people food to the dog, okay?

She didn’t walk right into anything. She knows exactly what her husband is going to say. She knows that his filter is faulty through experience.

Like other insecure people, she takes everything serious. So many women do, they are beautiful, but their mirrors tell them differently.

Elly’s walking on thin ice. Look at that grin on John’s face. Dogs should NEVER be fed table scraps. I’m just glad Farley’s going to be alright.

I seem to remember Farley liking to eat dead toads?

I try not to make food that tastes like crap but even if it did, my husband knows better than to say anything . . . otherwise he’d find himself in the role of this family’s cook from now on until the end of time!!!!! ;-)

Glad for once Elly is ready for John’s inevitable impending ignorant remark.
