Randy Jackson kind-of, sort-of has his own show. He is the nominal sponsor of America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV, but he only shows up at the very end to award the trophy. It’s not really a show about him at all.
Reminds me of a show called “Superstar USA” that billed itself as a singing contest a la American Idol … except the judges were actually picking the worst singers and telling them to their face how amazing and talented they were.
This would only be funny if Randy Jackson was some lightly-talented celeb musician on the show … instead, he is a highly regarded bassist, who has written, co-written and produced some incredible music in his career. It would actually be a shorter list to say what he has not done and who he has not worked with. Too bad, coulda been a funny strip today if you’d actually picked a target worth shooting at.
