They’ve called him Stubby ever since that trip to the Vet’s. Now he gets pleasure from venting his displeasure.

Stubby suddenly discovers that Rodney is bad to the bone.

Jeremy quietly carved another notch in the side of his chair. This was yet another neighbor who would now “see reason” and drop his complaint about Jeremy’s all-night punk rock parties. Just a couple more of them to invite round for a pleasant cup of coffee by the pool, and “talk this thing over, shall we”? In the course of which he would say “Oh there’s a wretched little mosquito on your leg. We can’t have that now, can we? Don’t worry, Stubby will deal with it. I’ve trained him. Stubby! Mos-kee-toe! Go boy, go!”

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to say earlier…no, no…. take all the tomatoes you want!Well, I don’t have enough for everybody to make sauce or put up quarts for winter…but all you can eat fresh, I’m sure I’ve got.

Mine at home are looking good, too…though we had some hot weather that made them weaker…I won’t say one word of complaint…compared to your weather, ours is a dream.Wish I could bring you some rain…or did you get some?AT least I can bring you and Stel tomatoes!

That reminds me… Hey Stel!FINALLY I can wear a costume for Whimsical Wednesday!I’m always so sad when the farmer’s market ends…at least that’s a tiny bit of consolation.

Since getting on in life i have lost much weight{good thing} and have no excess to insulate my body. I feel good and that is what counts for me. I’m a little crusty,tho.-———————————————————————-Well, I am a 47 year ols in a 100 year old body with a five year old mind. I have chronic pain and the cold makes me feel like I am breaking apart. So for me the hotter the better! Is it too early to count down to Spring?
