Why does Chip look like he’s up to no good in that first panel? I wouldn’t get in a car with someone who had that expression on his face. Gallagher, of course, will think Chip is talking about soccer in the third panel.

No, I’ve never played the game, but I do have some experience as a hooligan.

Tom Servo owned that license plate before Chip did.

Cliff – good call on the car tag! I was just watching some MST3K this afternoon. That tag makes me kind of wonder if the writer/artist isn’t doing a bit of self-satire. Very cool!

Ah, a little MST3K Easter egg — great! Probably no surprise that a good percentage of people who make comments on this site would be Misties.

WHAT!?!?!?! What do you have against jet-skis, etc!! I absolutely LOVE them…when they are broken, they’ve sunk, run out of gas, _________ (fill in the blank). Go catch some bigguns!

I’m think Terry is the long lost grandson of Rory Gallagher looking to start a band.

Gil isn’t starting practice until after Labor Day? No wonder Milford hasn’t made the playdowns in years. It’s time to get off the golf course, Gil, and channel that old Bear Bryant Junction Boys philosophy and put the boys through a workout in the heat of summer.

Yeah. We had our first football game on Sat. Is Milford using the Mayan Calender? Terry plays “old time rugby”, using techniques developed by William Wallace and Longshanks. Officials will have to lay in an extra supply of yellow hankies.

Ah, yes. Good to see Chip is continuing the tradition of American cluelessness about the rest of the world.

Gallagher: Should I be bringing me watermelon and sledge hammer to your “football practice?” Will Gil be sitting in the front row?
