Is that all? My father had a man try to barter for me when we were in Morocco in the early 80’s. The final offer was 30 white camels, 500 cattle and 50,000 dirham. He really wanted a blond haired, blue eyed girl for his oldest son. We left about a week after that.
ya know.. th epriest looks REMARKABLY like tarzan.. maybe he is a clayton in disguise? or since the strip seems to be stuck in a time warp, maybe he is MANDRAKE! lol
Not on vacation. These strips were created by the late great John Celardo who passed away in January of this year at the age of 93. He wrote and drew Tarzan from 1954 to 1968 – the current run was originally printed 51 years ago, in 1961.
Deja Vu! Flashback! Instant replay! This story is so terrible they’re making us all go through it again as punishment for Romney’s comment about “Big Bird”!! Or maybe we’ve been secretly “drugged” by some mind-altering, sinister plot when looking at this strip……HELP! Where’s B’wana Q, saywhat?, Patyann, and sydman to get us out of this mess???? UGH! :)> UmmmmmmmGooooooowwwwwwwA!
I said that this story was scary, very scary. There you have it. Destiny is making us suffer again this very dark religious story bordering exorcism and the stuff of a horror movie. I cannot wait for the strip to move on and give us Tarzan again in jungle action. On another subject, I collected a few years ago the books “Tarzan in color” with the full work of Hal Foster and Hogarth. Checking in ebay some of these volumes are selling today for over $500.00 each ($25.00 originally) Tarzan is always a great investment.
Yesterday was a rerun with the number on the strip being 7531 which was the strip ran on Oct. 1st. Todays strip # is 7538 and is the correct strip for today. Saturdays strip was 7536. They have skipped strip # 7537. 7’s and 1’s can sometimes be confusing when handwritten. I did contact gocomics with the issue yesterday and hopefully by tomorrow you will be able to look back and see strip # 7537.
this morning we had for today 7532, for a while the "big one was 7532 and the small one 7538, now both are 7538, hopefully we will get to see 7537 sometime tonight or by tomorrow
So Father Whatshisname (couldnt remember and didnt care enough to want to look back), according to Ngura, is going to save these people and their current (so to be freed) slaves from the next round of birdflu?
Thanks. Although at the age of 12 it was kind of creepy, yet flattering, since most would shun my red haired sister, who was the one getting most of the attention beforehand. And I still say, if my mother hadn’t have been there my father would likely have taken the man up on his offer.

I think for once the witch doctor won and forced the strip into some kind of time warp it can’t get out of for a week?

There is nothing to smile at when we see bad work done and think that there are so many unemployed people around.
Note that I do not noticed that yesterday (I certainly was in a hurry to go to the employment agency).
Grrr. No strip from 2002 to 2011 and now this!
