What’s the difference between a hormone and a vitamin?

Ah yes, 7th grade PE. That first day in the showers and you realized we were not all created equal (some were ‘early developers’).

Was Melody an earlier incarnation of Tiffany? If so, when did the changeover occur?

One can always make a “hormone”! Just don’t pay them when you leave!!!

You know, once upon a time, boys and girls, when cartoonists wanted to go on vacation, they would build up enough work in advance to cover their time off. Now, of course, they just re-run the old stuff and we dutifully swallow it like the sheep we are.

“A vitamin provides you with substances you don’t make yourself.” So does another strange, peculiar, alien substance called “food.” Which is where most vitamins come from, at least for people with intelligently chosen diets – i.e. choices they didn’t find in a diet book.

I don’t like the old art. It evolved for a reason. Today’s art is much better. I’ll be glad when the artist gets back. Too bad they didn’t run more recent repeats.

It’s interesting to see that while the art style has changed over the past 25 years, the basic characterizations have not – especially Bernice.

Follow the clues, Watson:

- Because there is a 3-week time lag, Mr. Evans left his post the end of August.

- He has indicated that this coming year, Luann and her friends will enter their exciting senior year.

- He is rusty about the senior year, having not been there for at least 20 years. He needs a refresher.

- Many schools in the Midwest and South began their academic years the end of August.

Rather than being on vacation, Mr. Evans has gone deep underground to personally research high school seniors. Teen readers— look at the “new” kids in school this year. He will probaby be covering his neatly-coifed silver hair with a wig, perhaps a disheveled dishwater blond. He will be wearing pink blush on his cheeks to detract from the crows feet around his eyes.

If you spot him, be nice, show him around the school, introduce him to your friends, and let him in on the secrets of how your school REALLY operates. Then tell US!!! We will see this secret info in the strips this coming year!

Doesn’t the body make vitamin D? Or is sunlight considered an outside item?.I thought Luann was based on his daughter, who has now graduated from Lewis & Clark University, but is his grandson (different mother) old enough by now to help?

O fer .. 6 days of pure HELL for some of you is too much, I guess. Maybe TV ought to do reruns. Oh, wait … they already do.

I think Greg goes back every now and then. Why I am not sure, but this is such a popular strip he can get away with it. I love that difference between a vitamin and hormone; you can’t hear a vitamin. I guess hormones are sexier period (lol)
