Or just enjoy life and let Nate figure out how he’s going to (do whatever he wants in life) on his own. What if he never makes it to adulthood – it happens. What if he decides he likes working for the local landscaper or at Wally World. You can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do. Go live your life and let them live theirs.
I imagine a lot of people spoke like this in the 1970’s when things were a lot worse than they are now. But the boom in the 80’s came and people actually liked our country again and believed there was a future (thank you Reagan). I think it is a big mistake to be so pessimistic, sure things are bad, but they WILL get better – otherwise, why even bother waking up in the mornings?
