I watched the original series and most of the others and this has been a wonderful tribute to the show. I missed a movie or two but have them on video and will watch when I get home from vacation. My fave character of all of them is 7 of 9…
I went to a con in Baltimore back when STV came out — and rolled over and died. There was a panel discussion, I kid you not: “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, or The End as We Know It?” I was in there for a while (since I couldn’t get into the sessions with the TNG actors) and the consensus was that the franchise was in serious Romulan doo-doo, at least on the silver screen. There was also a wonderful gag on the graffiti wall outside the ballrooms; but I can’t reproduce that here. It’s not vulgar; I just can’t use drawing tools here.

“What does God need with a starship?” Sadly, I can quote Star Trek V almost word for word.

I’m just glad this one ran on Saturday when my local paper doesn’t print Working Daze.

I try never to spend more than 5-7 days on any one topic. Monday we will be on to a new topic.

You can trust that he believed what he was saying. If not, he wouldn’t have done it. Sigh…
