No need to be snippy Opal. Earl is showing an interest in what you are doing. Just tell him what you are making and let it go.

Sadly, I’ve decided (after long time) this comic strip is getting a little too caustic for my taste. I can get this kind of exchange in real life. I think I’ll remove it from my list for a bit.

lol! I have the same problem with my husband! I don’t knit. I crochet. Nothing wrong with knitting, and I might someday learn that too, but how can you ask how my knitting is going when I have never even knitted!

Ouch. Maybe he startled her and she dropped her stitch. I get the same question all the time when I knit in public.

Apparently crocheting isn’t relaxing Opal..she is a bit snippy with Earl, and for once, he hasn’t done anything wrong.

I crochet and I hear this all the time. “Since you know how to knit…” I correct people but I try not to be snippy about it.

Knitting and crocheting are different??? Who knew?
