The parties went well yesterday. Everyone raved about the marinated BBQ Salmon amd the fresh corn salad. Then I built a fire in our firepot and the guys sat around it for 2 1/2 hours while the ladies tried on the new line of Cabi clothing.
JFri if I want to see elk, I can go to Benezette, PA in ELK county, or I can go to Cameron, Centre, McKean, Potter, Clinton or Clearfield Counties. I believe the main herd is in Benezette though. Google it sometime, it’s interesting, and they are magnificent.
cleo, my garden tomatoes didn’t do so well, got the late blight, the potted cherry tomatoes did pretty good. The peppers, so so. I guess very few people had good gardens this year. I planted 3 rows of carrots, just saw the other day, 2, TWO are coming up. NOT TWO ROWS, TWO CARROTS! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! But I got POTATOES, MAN! Those potato bags I asked you about were wonderful! The best part was not having to dig up the whole garden to find them! :-D

Now I know what happened to my carrots! Thanks Girl! Why didn’t you break into my house and grab my ranch dressing while you were at it? It goes well with carrots! :-D
