Those stupid tv talking heads feel it’s the thing to get blown around in a hurricane, easy for them, it’s not their houses and property being destroyed.

I saw Al Roker blown off his feet while reporting from a beach front hotel during a hurricane some years back. Scary stuff, that!

I have NO sympathy for those idiots who think that we, the viewing public are as stupid as they are and can’t tell if it is “Hurricaning” , Blizzarding, Hailing, Flooding, or whatever unless we see them out in it! (And usually, in the case of a blizzard or downpour, bare-headed.)Sheeeeeeesh!

Geraldo Rivera hanging on to that light pole in Galveston, while Ike made landfall. I kept waiting for him or the light pole to disappear from the TV screen. Luckily for Geraldo, they both held on.

We had a mild tornado several years back in Pittsburgh. There was actual footage of a man hanging on for dear life on light pole.

Love how the news warns folks to stay away from these situations—yet they’re right in the thick of it. Bah!
