    My grandad was a full-time illegal gambler back in the ’50’s. Depending on the turn of the cards, he and my grandma were either flush or broke. There was no middle ground, as he wasn’t a cautious man.

    Both my Grandfathers were Dairy Farmers.One was Irish, the other was Welsh.Dairy Farmers have a legitimate reason to purchase large quantities of corn and molasses.Corn and molasses are used to make moonshine.Both long since gone to their reward, so I can’t ask them, but………….
