The Elderberries by Corey Pandolph and Phil Frank and Joe Troise for December 24, 2012
Transcript:
Evelyn: The kids came by last week. Randy's still upset. Woman: About what? Evelyn: When I sold the house, I tossed out all his old comic books. Now I feel bad about it. Woman: Oh. That is unfortunate. Do you have any idea what I got for my son's Amazing Spider-Man #8 on eBay? Nearly $5,000. Evelyn: Oh, my. Now I really feel bad.

When my Mother was a young girl she received a genuine Charlie McCarthy doll. Years later she discarded it not knowing that later on that doll would be worth a small fortune. Don’t be too quick to throw out your kids books & toys.

When I left home I took my comic books with me. They’re still here under my bed! (Some are now worth 25 cents!)
