Years back, some 165 acre plots in W. Texas might have produced enough oil or gas to allow the owner to move to a place where wind gusts of 25 mph weren’t considered calm and the land was so flat you could see the back of your own head if you stood on top of your car and looked into the distance. Mac Davis said it best: “Happiness is Lubbock, Texas in your rear view mirror…”

156 acres, or one horse. Let’s see, that’s about enough to graze three cows. It would have to be a really short retirement. Plus where would he get other cohorts in crime like the ones he has now.
