Have I ever mentioned our neighborhood’s mailbox wars? As the oldest suburban neighborhood in our county, we have no HOA. For the most part, people decorate as they please. One of our neighbors was an avid collector of old metal objects – old plows, pumps, etc. He had a pot-belly stove which he used as a mailbox stand.
By the mid- 1980’s the county had grandfathered in our shop (attached to our house) as a home business within the neighborhood. They did have an issue with the number of cars out front. We went to considerable effort to keep everything neat, but sometimes it wasn’t possible. Like many mechanics, hubby didn’t put a lot of money into his personal cars.

The city needs to designate the Caddie as private playground equipment.
