Ah.. I remember the days of feeding change into a pay phone (rotary dial, of course) to pay for long-distance operator-assisted three minute calls to home, hearth and the girl-friend du jour. Oh, if this young soldier only had a mini-recorder then, I could play the sounds of change being fed to the phone and saved myself SO much gas money ! 20-20 hindsight…(sigh)
