Everything with hair sheds. Just look in the shower drain…

If we’re going for a rescue, again, the greyhound who also shed very little.

Walked right into that one.

Yorkies do not shed. They have a single layer of hair that must be cut or it grows to unmanagable lengths.

I liked it better when you were gone

Dogs with hair do not shed. Just as we do not shed. We may lose some hairs, but it is not the same process as shedding.

Thank you for planning to adopt a dog from a shelter. Consider just seeing who touches your heart instead of focusing on a specific breed or mix. There are so many wonderful homeless pets looking for someone to love.

Well, hooray again for their considering adopting a shelter animal.

Yea, shelter dogs! You can find all kinds of dogs in the shelter. Also petfinder.com. That’s where I found my last dog. He was actually from a rescue, which are great too! Most are still shelter dogs, just taken from the shelter into the rescue and put in homes to be fostered. You really get to know a lot about the pets in those situations. :)

Why so negative? If you don’t like it, don’t read it.

Susan, I’ve never seen you this negative before. Sorry you don’t care for the arc.

She says “OMG” out loud? I thought she was over 30.

Maybe there is a Labradoodle in a shelter they can rescue. But at least Laura realized shelter dogs need homes. FINALLY!

We live in a rural area and strays show up out here often. They start out at my neighbor’s house and then he’s asking, “Do you guys want a dog (or cat)?” We’ve gained wonderful family members over the years. Sometimes they come directly to our yard.
