Saw this on the first run (NPI). Before that, I’d thought, “What if someone screwed up in relaying the queen’s order, so the princess was kept awake by a stench?”

Great!! By the way Carol Burnett played the Queen in a later version.

One of the Far Side’s successors some time back showed Winnifred in middle age, faced with having to get off all those mattresses in the middleof the night.

EMT: I once knew a girl named Fred. I doubt it is the same one as she is on Social Security now. I also knew a girl named Sam, and I didn’t have to show Groucho a rose. Also, a Paul, which makes this whole true collection rather apalling.
